How to Find Us
The Echo Ridge Vineyard and Cellar Door is located at
Lot 1, Oakey Creek Road - Pokolbin NSW 2320 (near the corner of McDonalds Road) in the Hunter Valley.
The Hunter Valley is easily accessible. Only a short 2 hours drive north of Sydney and a leisurely 1 hour drive from Newcastle.
Self Drive from Sydney
Route 1: Over Sydney Harbour Bridge & follow the Pacific Hwy towards Hornsby. Before Hornsby (at Wahroonga) take National Highway 1 (F3 Freeway) north towards Newcastle. After 100kms (1 hour), exit the National Hwy 1 at the Cessnock/Hunter Valley Vineyards exit sign. Follow the signs to Cessnock/Vineyards.
Route 2: Tourist Route T33 – Turn off National Hwy 1 (F3 Freeway) at Peats Ridge. This route will take you through scenic mountains and via parts of the historic convict trail & into Wine Country at the historic town of Wollombi.
By Bus

By Train

By Plane
• Cessnock Airport – by private charter or through Sydney Seaplanes.
• Newcastle Airport – Daily flights from Melbourne, Brisbane and NE Queensland by Virgin Blue & Jetstar. Daily flights by Tiger Air from Melbourne. Daily flights from Sydney with Aeropelican. Several Tours by either bus, private vehicle or even seaplane depart daily from Sydney and/or Newcastle.
By Helicopter
Echo Ridge has several landing areas for helicopters. Please contact our Cellar Door to get GPS coordinates and to organise a landing approval which is issued via email with approach information, landing site details, and fuel options).
Several helicopter operators can provide a charter service from Sydney or other locations to Echo Ridge.
